IN MEMORIAM ~ HIGHLIGHTS
Since we
began to plan for the upcoming "50th", every effort has been made again to find every classmate possible. Inevitably,
as this search went on, the In Memoriam list has grown rapidly. What we have hoped to do is to "put
faces" with the names, and I have gathered information from friends and loved ones wherever possible. In this way, we
hope to have heartwarming memories of those we have lost included during this time of reminiscing, as we prepare for this
milestone event. (The information below will be updated as new information comes in. If you'd like to add
any information in regards to any of our deceased grads’ adult lives, please contact Jeri via phone (714) 539-1429 or
by email at: jandktoo@socal.rr.com ) Although reading this information may sadden you, I hope that we can embrace what we learn and be able to truly celebrate
their lives. NOTE: Point & click on most pictures to enlarge. As new stories are added, an asterisk
(*) will be placed by the name on the In Memoriam List. Check back often. .

GONE TOO SOON
We tragically lost two classmates prior to graduation. GAIL DECKER died in June of 1963. She
will always be remembered for her beauty, her sense of fun, and her good heart.
In December of 1962, after several
weeks of hospitalization, JACQUELINE MAHER died of kidney disease. She is remembered fondly by her many friends in the graduating
class as an active, charming, delightful girl, participating in many sports activities. As noted in the yearbook, the shock
of her passing was lightened for her friends by the fact that medical science learned a great deal from the efforts made to
save Jacqueline. This knowledge has undoubtedly been applied to save countless others over the past 50 years.
