While you are in Long Beach, don’t miss the opportunity to absorb the sights, sounds, and aromas of your hometown.
A jaunt around town will make your heart skip a beat as memories leap at you.

DOWNTOWN LONG BEACH

There is much to see and do plus great ways to get around.

Passport: The free little red bus that will connect you to downtown Long Beach attractions.

 Pine Avenue: The location of many restaurants and historic buildings. The Promenade is adjacent to Pine Avenue to the east.

 The Queen Mary (QueenMary.com)

 Aquarium of the Pacific (aquariumofpacific.org)

 The Pike at Rainbow Harbor: restaurants, small shops and a Ferris wheel

 Shoreline Village: shopping, dining, harbor cruises, and bike rentals

 Water taxi docks: Aqua Link and Aqua Bus

Aqua Link: The red, yellow, and purple boat ferries passengers to destinations around the harbor that are listed above, Belmont Pier, and Alamitos Bay Landing. The cost is $5.00. Wheelchair boarding is available.

Aqua Bus: The bright red boat that makes five stops along the harbor waterfront: Aquarium of the Pacific at Dock 4, The Queen Mary, Shoreline Village at Parker Lighthouse, Pine Avenue Circle at Dock 7, and the Hotel Maya. The cost is $1.00 and is wheelchair accessible at most docking locations.

Transportation schedules are available at Long Beach Transit (lbtransit.com)

The Long Beach Museum of Art: Located at 2300 East Ocean, it has exhibits and a bluff-top café.

Museum of Latin American Art: 628 Alamitos Avenue

4th Street Retro Row: Stretching from Cherry to Junipero Avenues, Funky shops feature vintage clothing, antiques, books, and other treasures.

Broadway Corridor: Starting east of downtown and continuing down the street to Belmont Shore, discover many specialty stores and restaurants.

BELMONT SHORE AND NAPLES

Start and one end and walk to the other. The area is still full of shops, bars, and restaurants.

Walk or bike along Bayshore to Ocean. You can connect to the bike/walking trail that runs along Ocean to downtown.

The Gondola Getaway: Take a one hour tour of the Naples Canals and bayfront by gondola. For reservations, phone 562-433-9595 or visit gondo.net.
