SENSATIONAL SWING

Now, here is a classy way to add  sparkle to your Golden Years.

Some months before her 65th birthday, Roberta Wall walked into the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Long Beach and signed up for lessons.  She must be a natural, as she is now dancing regularly in Arthur Murray competitions. (She did want to explain that she competes with others of her age range and similar skill level.)

After Bill Tobin tipped us off, we begged for pictures and she complied.  All of these were taken recently at the Hyatt Hotel in Irvine.

Bill Tobin Celebrates his Birthday
with his wife in Denmark and Sweden

Bill in the Town Square in Lund, Sweden

Although Denmark and Sweden were beautiful with their massive castles, palaces, and museums, the weather was rather cold and somewhat biting. Needless to say, my t-shirts, shorts, and swim trunks remained unpacked.

Upon our arrival in Denmark, we jumped on a hop-on, hop-off bus for a quick orientation tour of Copenhagen. At one stop, we noticed perhaps a dozen people looking into the waterway. There was a Danish Naval vessel firing a cannon. Naturally, this got our curiosity so we got off the bus to see what was going on. A well-dressed lady, accompanied by a gentleman in full military regalia, was getting out of a yacht; she walked past the people waving, and then got into a limo and drove off. We then were told that she was the Queen of Denmark, coming back from a day outing.
