I am so elated and appreciative that I received this year's Class of '63 Scholarship!  I hope that I represent this scholarship well on the University of California, Berkeley campus this fall with a major in Microbiology. I am excited that I was recognized and chosen for this award; what a privilege, and an enormous financial help it is to receive the Legacy of '63 scholarship. 

I accept this graciously and I feel truly honored to be selected to be the senior who receives it this year.
