SUMMERTIME, AND
THE LIVIN' IS EASY
Well, the 4th of July is over (thank
goodness) and we are well into summer. I love this time of year. Some of my favorite things about summer - the
beach, the park, eating at outdoor cafes. What do you guys like about this season?

I like stretching out on the
back porch in the late afternoon for a really nice nap. Except for when they turn on the sprinklers without notice.

I like the warmer weather, and I seem to
get outside more. Also it stays light longer. That way more people can see me and appreciate my beauty.
My coat is also extra shiny but then again, I am magnificent all year round.

I like that the 4th of July is over,
and Halloween is still a long way off.

Well, let's see. There are the usual seasonal
concerns, like getting burned on a barbeque, choking on a steak bone, drowning, heat stroke, bug bites, poison oak, snake
bites, rollerskating and skateboard accidents, serious sunburns, sports injuries, ice cream intolerance, I could
go on and on (wait, I already have.) I'll just say my favorite thing is when everyone is safely in bed for the night
and sleeping soundly.
Unfortunately, the days are longer so there is more time for bad things to happen and less time for everyone to be safely
tucked in and sleeping.

My best summer memory is when I
got to go in the car, and I knew we were going to the bark-park, but I didn't know until the last minute that Zippety was
going to be there too! Zippety and I love to be together.
I hope you can see in this picture
how excited Zippety is to see me.
