A DREAM CAME
TRUE "Bob Love guides the miniature train that runs thru
Irvine Regional Park in Orange." Kathy Love shared this March, 2002 news clipping of her husband, just
as he came out of the tunnel. Happily, Bob had found a way to fulfill his childhood dream to be a train engineer (See
Wish List on Kindegarten Baby, page 5).
Kathy says that a memorial tree is planted near the tunnel, and wants
Bob's classmates to know that "little boys can
grow up to be train engineers."

A Very Good Friend
Thanks to Jim Rapp (on the left) for this
treasured picture, taken in April of 1958, of himself with Bob Love . Jim described Bob as "a very good friend." The
kind who is never forgotten.
